the 70th anniversary of Moldova State University and
the 90th anniversary of academician S. Radautsan.

12–16 September 2016, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova

MSCMP 2016 is a biennial international gathering for academics and research-oriented practitioners in the areas of physics and electrochemistry. It is an interdisciplinary conference which aims at creating a forum for further discussions on recent developments and future perspectives and collaboration in the integrated areas of physics and electrochemistry.

MSCMP 2016 is organized by the Institute of Applied Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and the Faculty of Physics and Engineering of the Moldova State University in cooperation with the scientific association “Materials Science and Engineering”, Moldovan Physical Society and Alumni of the Faculty of Physics.

The conference will consist of plenary lectures (35 minutes, including discussions), topical sessions with keynote lectures (25 min) and contributed oral presentations (15 min), as well as poster sessions. The recommended format for posters is A0 portrait (90 cm x 120 cm panel).

A satellite school “Optical and Digital Holography: Materials and Methods” will be held during the conference.
The course material will cover the following topics: Development and application of optical and digital holography methods, computational image data processing, digital holographic microscopy, 3D surface morphology, interferometry and diffractive optics, the industrial application of advanced optical technologies and biomedical optics.
The lectures will be delivered by experienced researchers and aimed at about 20 young researchers: MSc, PhD. and Post-docs.

Young Scientist Tutorial will be organized in the frame of the event aimed for young researchers, undergraduate masters, and PhD students, as well as for all those interested in the theme.
